In this episode, we start our summer holidays in Sardinia and experience firsthand how Italy becomes European football champion during the day of arrival.
The first sight we visit on our road trip is Tarquinia, a town of great importance and history regarding the civilization of Italy. Our next trip brings us to the mystical park of the monsters in Bomarzo, where a huge garden with grotesque but fascinating statues is awaiting us.

Weekly or even daily markets have a big tradition in Italy and are even today an important meeting point for the locals. One of the most interesting markets is the lively fish market “La Pescheria” in Catania, Sicily. From the early morning until lunchtime, the fisherman are (loudly) offering their catches and loudly praise their goods. Beside the fish market see the daily life of the “Catanesi” and why they make the city so lively.
We are taking you to one of the most popular beaches at the northeastern part of Sardinia: The La Cinta Beach. It’s azure blue water and white sand attracts a lot of people. See why we had to fight against the strong wind and dive with us into the clear water.
Deep clear blue water ending in the coves covered with white sand and mighty rocks on the mainland. This unforgettable picture was unfolded before my eyes during our aircraft landing approach on the island Sardinia in Italy.
Land with us and see in the first episode of my Sardinia Vlog Series our first impressions as well as the welcoming sunset at the beautiful port of Portisco.
