One of the most iconic places of Liguria when not of all Italy is Portofino. The former fishing village is located within a dreamlike bay at the southern tip of the Tigullio Gulf bay. Surrounded by the azure blue sea and olive trees you will find pastel-colored houses, the little port and on top of a hill the Castello Brown.
