Furthermore, I´ve visited the first Turin coffee festival and could talk to a coffee production company owner, to a food blogger and last but not least to a barista.
On June 8, 2018, the Italian market leader for coffee products “Lavazza” inaugurated its new headquarters called “la Nuvola” (the cloud). On some of the total 30,000 square meters, the new headquarter offers an interactive museum, Slow Food bistro, and a gourmet restaurant. Get an insight into their world of coffee.
Delicious Italian coffee is famous all over the world. Everyone knows espresso, cappuccino and macchiato. But where has the Italian coffee culture its origin and what does coffee itself means for the Italians? I was looking for answers inside Turin’s most ancient and famous coffee houses.
